Research Associate Liver Solutions Group, Switzerland (100%)

In this role you will work together with our experienced PMs and Senior Scientists across research, development and services, supporting the further development of our liver disease models based on our innovative 3D cell-based technology platforms that closely mimic healthy and diseased human biology. Main responsibilities

  • Independent planning and execution of development and validation projects
  • Performance of various cell-based assays
  • Data analysis, management and interpretation
  • Establishing new assays and/or techniques
  • Creating and modifying new process related documents (e.g. SOPs, application notes)
  • General laboratory maintenance (lab cleaning, equipment monitoring, preparation of reagent aliquots, lab inventory)
  • Cell line banking and -management
  • Literature research



  • MSc in Biology or other Life Sciences with proven experience in cell culture techniques, ideally with hepatocytes
  • Ability to work under aseptic conditions
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience in working according to standard operating procedures (ISO 9001 certification)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Flexible with regards to working hours
  • Resilient and reliable team player but also able to work independently
  • Solid knowledge in English
