Scientific Services Coordinator, Switzerland (100%)

InSphero has a dedicated service branch, offering innovative compound testing and in-vitro model development services to biotech and pharma customers. With a strong growth in our service area, we are looking for a highly motivated team player to join us as Scientific Service Coordinator. In this role you will work together with our experienced Senior Scientists and PMs across our different strategic business fields and will be mainly responsible for service improvements, load balancing, load planning and ensuring prompt communication and escalation of service business issues. You are able to organize people across the company and to lead teams towards a common goal. Main responsibilities

  • Coordination and tracking of incoming service requests
  • Streamlining and further improvement of service operations (e.g. compound storage, databases, ELNs, templates, etc.) incl. development and implementation of new and improved processes
  • Supporting liver services with coordination, administration, study plan writing, and customer communication
  • Establishing a modular/dynamic service load and pricing framework across different strategic business fields
  • Working closely with customers and act as an internal interface for field sales team, Operations and Insides Sales
 

Profile

  • Min. MSc, preferably a PhD in Biology or other Life Sciences with a solid background in cell- and molecular biology
  • Notable track record of experimental lab work (cell culture, cell-based assays and/or drug screening)
  • Min. 3 years Life Science Industry experience
  • Experience in the CRO industry is a significant plus
  • Solid project-management experience and excellent organizational, coordination and project-management skills
  • Strong business sense; entrepreneurial and innovative thinking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid knowledge in English
