3D Cell Culture Lab Technician, Maine (100%)

The 3D Cell Culture Lab Technician is responsible for routine production of 3D InSight Microtissues and cell culture media in our US bioproduction unit. The Technician also provides support for ongoing product development and maintenance activities as well as general laboratory maintenance tasks. Primary Responsibilities

  • Routine production of 3D InSight™ microtissues and cell culture media for commercial sales and internal use following established SOPs
  • Thorough documentation of production processes in manufacturing checklists
  • Isolation of primary cells
  • Support of product development and maintenance (validation of new cell lots, testing of media batches, evaluation of new cell sources)
  • General laboratory maintenance (lab cleaning, equipment monitoring, preparation of reagent aliquots, lab inventory)
 

Profile

  • BSc/MSc in Biology or other Life Sciences with proven experience in cell culture techniques and animal handling/simple surgery
  • Ability to work under aseptic conditions
  • Good hand and eye coordination to perform biochemical assays and use technical equipment with accuracy
  • Experience in working according to standard operating procedures (ISO 9001 certification)
  • Good skills with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Flexible with regards to working hours
  • Resilient and reliable team player but also able to work independently with high attention to detail
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer (candidates must be U.S. citizens or Permanent Resident Aliens)

Director of Business Development, US West Coast (100%)

Reporting to the VP, Head of Sales and Business Development, North America, the Business Development Director is responsible for developing and driving sales and business development activities within the Western Region, transforming the market using the disruptive innovation developed by InSphero. This includes the execution of the sales strategy in the region by targeting primarily pharmaceutical and biotech customers, and ensuring the achievement of revenue and business goals. Main Responsibilities

  • Proactive territory, account, and strategic key account management
  • Responsible for territory growth, revenue targets, acquisition of new accounts and opportunities, customer relationship and satisfaction
  • Willingness to work closely and cooperatively with team members in the United States and Europe
  • Develop customer-focused business strategies, relationships with KOLs and strategic partners, and support InSphero in implementing market strategies, introduction of new products and technologies
  • Form strategic alliances such as early access programs
  • Develop and manage complex projects at key accounts to achieve long term sustainable business
  • Daily use of key account tools and CRM database for input and output of customer information to increase sales effectiveness
  • Recognize market trends and gain competitive intelligence within the industry
  • Identify and drive development of new large scale business opportunities in defined accounts
  • Develop and execute an effective business plan for the assigned accounts using key account strategies and resources
  • Develop an organizational structural map for respective key accounts to increase sales effectiveness
 

Profile
