Lab Assistant – Cell Culture & Cell Banking, (60-100%), Switzerland

Reporting to the Team Lead Oncology and supporting the Head of External Collaborations & IP, you will contribute to the planning and implementation of InSphero cell banking and cell culturing projects, including genetic manipulation/engineering and cloning.The position requires a hands-on mentality and a drive for precision work. The ideal candidate will be experienced in cell culture techniques under aseptic conditions and will be familiar with good documenting practices. Experience in an industrial/CMDO setting is a plus. The position offers a unique environment and opportunity to work in an international environment and apply and further develop your expertise. Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementing step-by-step protocols/checklists for cell culturing, cell manipulation and cell banking processes, including appropriate in-process and quality control criteria
  • Thorough documentation of cell-based work according to established protocols/checklists
  • Participating in project teams for the development of cell-based bio-assay solutions
  • Supporting InSphero laboratory team in maintenance (lab cleaning, equipment monitoring, preparation of reagent aliquots, lab inventory)

Profile

  • Biology lab technician degree
  • Experienced with work under aseptic conditions
  • Experienced in working with viral vectors
  • Ability to plan and document cell culturing, - manipulation and - banking protocols
  • Experienced in working according to standard operating procedures
  • High attention to detail
  • Resilient and reliable team player but also able to work independently
  • Flexible with regards to working hours but no weekend work
  • Good communicator and good command of English; German knowledge would be a plus
  • Work experience with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams)

Marketing Coordinator (100%), Switzerland

Main responsibilities

  • Contribute to and assist in the implementation of the global marketing strategy to further strengthen the company’s market presence and position
  • Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing
  • Assist Marketing Manager in the coordination of European and US exhibitions, conferences and events, including tradeshows, user group meetings and local onsite company events
  • Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, ordering marketing collateral, and cost tracking
  • Assist the content development for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice – website, email, social media platforms, SEO & SEM, PR.
  • Assist the development and maintenance of various marketing collateral, i.e., brochures, flyers, product documents and presentations.
  • Maintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials when necessary
  • Support the evaluation and monitoring of campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
  • Maintain the structure of the marketing database
  • Maintain technical documentation – final formatting of PPTs, protocols, manuals, reference guides, etc.
  • Assist Marketing Director in the development of BOD presentations
  • Liaison between marketing and sales
  • Adhere to budgets amongst assigned projects; monitor progress through KPI tracking and submit quarterly performance reports

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience in related field
  • 2 years of marketing experience; experience in life-science business is a plus
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
  • Experience in the design and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Familiarity with software tools required to manage and maintain corporate website (Joomla, WordPress, Google Webmaster/Analytics, AdWords) is a plus
  • Experience with SFDC/CRM
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
  • Occasional travel required for setup at EU tradeshows and events
