Dr. Frauke Greve is the product manager and engineer behind InSphero's Akura™ Plates portfolio, blending engineering expertise with 3D cell culture biology to develop innovative solutions for advanced cell handling. Since joining InSphero in 2014, she has driven the creation of the ultra-low attachment Akura™ Microplates, enabling researchers to achieve precision and reproducibility in their workflows. Frauke collaborates closely with internal teams and industry experts to pioneer technologies tailored to the needs of the scientific community, unlocking the full potential of 3D in vitro research.

Dr. Nils Goedecke is a trained biophysicist with a PhD in analytical chemistry. His broad scientific and engineering background enables him to lead multi-disciplinary teams to successfully develop products, like the ARCTis™ platform, for biological applications. He started his career at Humboldt University and continued at Imperial College London, followed by a post-doc at Whitehead Institute. 2005 he joined ETH Zurich where he worked on single cell analysis methods. Together with the Institute for Biomechanics he developed sensors arrays for obtaining the exerted force of cancer cells. Dr Goedecke joined InSphero in 2022 to establish the portfolio of cryopreserved tumor models.
