Open Positions

Business Development Manager East Coast and Distribution & E-Commerce Manager

Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and business development activities, including the initiation of partnerships within the Eastern Region and supporting our sales channel platforms. This includes the execution of the business strategy by targeting pharmaceutical and biotech partners.

Starting date: as soon as possible.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for territory growth, revenue targets and acquisition of new opportunities
  • Drive strategic alliances and the development of partnership opportunities from initiation to contracting
  • Support the order processing in North America to optimize the workflows working closely with the Business Support and Finance team
  • E-Commerce Strategy: Oversee and continuously improve the presentation and promotion of InSphero’s products on e-commerce platforms such as and Science-Exchange.


  • Deal making experience and hunter mentality with the ability to identify and build a quick rapport with new prospects while navigating the sales cycle
  • Customer focused personality ideally with 3+ years business development experience
  • Deep understanding of the drug discovery and development process
  • Strong negotiation skills and excellent networker across all levels of customer organization
  • Independent, proactive, and well-organized personality
  • Biology-related degree (MSc or PhD) with good understanding of cell biology/molecular biology – an additional business degree is a plus
  • Ideal location to live and work from a home office: East Coast
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer (candidates must be U.S. citizens or Permanent Resident Aliens)
