Anna Borgström has a versatile scientific background with over 10 years’ experience of working in the field of cell and molecular biology at the crossroad between cell-based assays, cancer biology and diagnostic assay development. In early 2022 she joined InSphero as Senior Scientist and Deputy VP Liver Safety team, working as scientific lead and customer-based service studies and numerous R&D projects. In her role at InSphero she is determined to drive the development of next-generation testing methods for drug toxicity and to close the gap between in vivo and in vitro testing, by providing solutions for liver safety questions through the application of 3D liver models as an alternative to animal testing.

Dr. Frauke Greve is the product manager and engineer behind InSphero’s Akura™ Plates portfolio, blending engineering expertise with 3D cell culture biology to develop innovative solutions for advanced cell handling. Since joining InSphero in 2014, she has driven the creation of the ultra-low attachment Akura™ Microplates, enabling researchers to achieve precision and reproducibility in their workflows. Frauke collaborates closely with internal teams and industry experts to pioneer technologies tailored to the needs of the scientific community, unlocking the full potential of 3D in vitro research.

Arnab China is a Business Development Manager at InSphero, advancing the adoption of cutting-edge 3D in vitro models for drug discovery. Previously, he played a key role in startups, driving engineered cell therapies from development to clinical trials. Arnab holds a Master’s and Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and completed postdoctoral training in Cancer Cell Biology at the Cleveland Clinic. A founding member of STEMPeers, he advocates for biotech innovation, career development, and community building in Philadelphia.
